Care Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration and processing of the payroll to ensure Colleagues are paid accurately, on time and within legal guidelines
  • Timely resolution of any pay queries
  • Provide accurate information to the in country IPO payroll providers and work closely with the Finance function to ensure that required payments to in country Colleagues and authorities are paid on time
  • Ensure process and system controls are in place; maintain, validate and update process documentation to ensure legal and company compliance
  • Monitor site payroll and timesheet compliance. Educate, challenge and escalate where appropriate to minimise legal and compliance risks
  • Plan for and deliver the activities on the payroll calendar including cyclical and ad hoc tasks

Key Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, our client is looking for candidates with the following:

  • Up to date understanding of payroll principles – tax, NI, NLW. HMRC requirements etc
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Excellent admin skills
  • Personal Qualities
  • Being able to manage volume with pace whilst keeping focus on SLA’s and customer experience is a key challenge within this role
